Victoria Palace Hotel - Where decent to eat nearby

we are going to see Billy Elliot in a few days and want to head to the Theatre and eat in the evening nearby so we are not rushing.

Can anyone recommend anywhere please?

Right next to the theatre there is a precinct off Victoria St called
Cardinal Place which has a Zizzi, a La Tasca, a Browns and a Wagamama (up the escalator)

In Cardinal Place there'a a Wagamama and La Tasca, and just left of the theatre there's Pizza.Express, Balls Brothers, little Italian places, etc. For excellent English pies and cider there's Chimes about 10 min walk in Pimlico, also Grumbles for English food and a good French brasserie on the same street, think it's Churton St.

For dead posh meals go down Vic St to New Scotland Yard and turn left. Excellent hotel restaurants I'm told, but cost a fortune.

Cardinal Place looks ideal and quite near the theatre prob opt for Browns ... looks nice
