overnight accommodation near longleat safari park

Lovely mn'ers, we are going to cornwall for a week in april & on the way home we'd like to visit longleat. We need somewhere to stay overnight, 2 adults plus 2.5yr ds & we'd prefer for him to have his own room or he'll be up watching telly with us til midnight. Any recommendations on good places to stay that are close by?

Center parcs is next door

The minimum stay there is 3 nights, we just want overnight.x

Just recommended this place on another thread Holcombe Inn. We stayed at Xmas and it is less than half an hour to Longleat - we drove past on the way home. It is really really nice, gprgeous rooms, lovely food, good kids menu.

There is a lounge area near the (secure) stairs for the rooms upstairs, so you could put him to bed and nip back downstairs for a drink. Dd is a bit older, but she went up and watched TV on her own, whilst we sat downstairs. You need a key/pass thing to get to the upstairs rooms and can clearly see people coming and going.

Have you had a look at LongleatHomewoodSpa it seemed to have triple rooms available including breakfast and looks great

Family room .. Lovely breakfast and decent walks and pubs nearby

Ah just re read the separate rooms .. Think you'll struggle with that on a one night booking tbh.

We stayed at the nearest Travel-lodge, don't know what you could do about own room, though.
