Thinking of having a week in North Wales self catering, older dcs.

I keep changing my mind though as there are so many nice places. Any recommendations? Dcs are pre teen and teen and like quiet places. Would probably prefer the coast but perhaps inland?

We want self catering so we can do our own food plus eat out.

TIA

I would go to the Llyn Peninsular

We have done all the places, lots to see and do in the area and not far from the Snowden national park, some of the best beaches too.

I spent my childhood here

IMO when you look at a map, take your boundaries as Criccieth in the west, Harlech in the south, Trawsfynydd in the east and Llan Ffestiniog in the north and you really can't go wrong.

I love this place too

We stayed here last year with DS12, on the campsite but they also do self catering. Great for cycling along the Mawddach Trail or at the mountain bike centre at Dolgellau and not too far from Snowden if you fancy something more energetic!

Thank you all that's very helpful. It's so beautiful there makes it hard to choose.
