Anyone recommend a totally secluded (ie no neighbours) detached UK holiday cottage in deep rural surroundings, preferably with water (river/stream/lake/sea) nearby?
We probably wouldn't get as far as Scotland but anything else considered. Whole family love nature, peace and quiet but with shops for food and activities in case DCs get bored. Internet access is a plus.
Most important of all though is seclusion - ie no nearby other cottages/houses and places to walk, mess about in water etc.
Just wondered if anyone on here had been somewhere like this that they'd recommend?
