Pembrokeshire wet weather/Winter activities?

The in-laws live near Milford Haven in Pembs and the weather is shocking on 95% of the days we spend there. Cabin fever with very lively 5 and 2 year olds plus MILs prescious things drives me nuts.

We have done castles and beaches plus a the regular mooch round Haverfordwest but I think we need a bit more now. We're down for Christmas and was thinking of the Blue Lagoon at Bluestone despite it's eye watering cost. Is there any other attractions/soft play open at this time of year?

To be honest, the blue lagoon I think is better for older kids. The slides etc are a bit full on and there isn't much in the pool for little ones, just a normal local pool would be as good for that age.

My mum's a bit north of Haverfordwest so we've done a lot of this over the years. I can recommend horse riding for your five year old, pottery places and farms. There's a great farm/play place called Clerkenhill just outside Haverfordwest that we are made to visit every holiday - shabby but great fun and although its outside there's some indoor stuff too. A stamp around St David's cathedral and Bishops Palace is always popular too. Apparently we are also going to Folly Farm on Sunday as birthday treat for DD - again indoor and outdoor options. Hope this helps.

You may have a point there givemeaclue. DD1 is a speed freak and tall for her age so would probably be fine on some of the slides but maybe best to leave that for when they are both old enough to enjoy.

EATmum some good ideas there. I think we'll give Folly Farm a go on Sunday. I love St David's too. That might be a plan for Monday. We live in Devon and I feel that there isn't anying in Pembs that we don't have at home. The children are happy seeing the GPs which is the important thing.

Yes folly farm is good. But overall I think Pembrokeshire is a good weather destination not vast amounts for rainy days
