Hi, Ive never been as a family but used to work there and did a few Family Active weekends. Great fun, and the kids bloody love seeing Dad terrifies at the top of the High Ropes!

You know you've got three threads going about this?

yep - three threads and no answers at all really. I think it sums it up - not that popular.

We did a lot of adventure holidays as children/teenagers and once went as a family too. We always went to independent activity centres in The Lakes, rather than PGL. Independents were much cheaper! In principle, I would highly recommend activity hols, but have no experience of PGL. The Youth Hostels Association run activity holidays, they might be worth considering.
