Bruern or similar

Looking for a short break in Jan with husband and 2 kids (5 months and 3 1/2). UK only. Would love an indoor pool and other child friendly stuff if possible. Ideally in the Midlands somewhere or if not no further north than Northumbria, no further South than Bristol. Bruern looks perfect but it is quite pricey - is it worth it? Definitely not Center Parcs as I hate the place. Open to lodges/cottages (but probably not a hotel)

Ideas please...

I've done Bruern with a baby - it is pricey but it is lovely. And they have toys (indoor and out) as well as swings/slides and a wendy house and there are kitchen supplies too like jam, cheese, eggs, bread and cake. Even baby swim nappies! So you don't need to pack a lorry-load of stuff with you.
If you can afford to do it, I would!
