3 or 4 nights October half term week.
Something for under £500 for the 6 of us would be nice.
I like quiet & clean but basic, don't appreciate frills.
I think even Travelodge is coming out a bit dear for us!
Towards Ealing or in the East end would be good.
Suggestions?

Tune Hotels?
Very basic but clean, quite new too so no wear and tear. One near Liverpool St.
Wouldn't stay in a central London Travelodge again if you paid me

thanks for reply but that's still quite pricey.
I think I'm going back to my old faithfuls, the tall B+Bs on Gower street. They never let me down :).

The Premier Inn group Countyhall, right by London Eye across bridge from houses of parliament. Two large double beds, immaculate rooms, fab self service breakfast with costa coffee, faultless! Enjoy!

Not been for years but try Baden Powell House it's near the V&A/natural history etc

Thanks for the further suggestions :).

That Premier Inn group is coming up with £1050! Eek. Is there a special way to book it, I wonder?

I like idea of Baden PHouse, DS1 is a keen Sea Scout.

I got the Hilton in Kensington once with them at some ridiculously cheap price.

Easy hotel. My choice when I am paying. Cheapest half term week is £44 a night per room - so for 3 nights that would be £370. they are clean and basic
