Recommend a nice (but not too pricey) spa hotel in central London?

Planning a girls trip next year for a 40th birthday. Would like a nice spa hotel, central location, but not too expensive. Any suggestions? TIA.

Have a look on Red Letters - have just bought a spa day for two for a friend's 40th coming up ~ at the Bannatyne one in Millbank. Reviews look good though I've not been there before.

hi OP we went through the same thing. tbh the accom in london was so expensive and not really that good value that we decided to go to Bath (by train) go in the fab bath spa with roof top open pool and stayed in cheaper hotel so that we could spend more on the important things in life - food, shopping and afternoon tea. hope this helps perhaps you could do a price comparison. happy to send more details of our trip if you want it.

Thanks Flubba, will have a look.

Mummymeister, that sounds good but probably not terribly practical for us as we'd be coming from Aberdeen! Have done London on a budget but happy to spend a bit more since it's a special Birthday.
