anywhere in/cornwall will do, can you recommend somewhere youve stayed?

Blimy can you narrow it down a bit?

Are you travelling with kids? Do you want to be isolated or in town? luxury or cheap and cheerful?

I've stayed here and it was lovely: porthcurno-accommodation.co.uk/property.htm

The main bedroom is on a mezzanine level accessed by a windmill type ladder and then there's two bedrooms on the ground floor. There's also a wood burner so I would say it's not suitable for younger children but 5 years upwards would probably be ok.

The beach is within walking distance, couple of pubs and lots of attractions close by. It's just up the road from the Minack theatre if you fancy a bit of culture and as I recall, the owner was very friendly and approachable.

We have stayed a number of times at wringworthy holiday cottages in Looe. Lovely place, friendly owners they have a swimming pool and farm animals.

BikeRunSki · 02/09/2012 22:51

We've stayed here a few times. If you want beach a minute away, rock pooling, nice pub with good food, no traffic, ice creams type holiday with little DC, then Cawsand is perfect.

St Edmunds in Trevone was great.

2 adults and our DS age 8...near beach, good pubs, food etc... would rather not have to drive too far so not middle of nowhere

am very open to being persuaded by your fantastic hols though

The cottage I posted fits your criteria.

Bunbaker · 03/09/2012 11:50

We had a lovely holiday here. The only noises you could hear were the sheep baaing. The cottage is really comfortable and has loads of facilities - dishwasher, washing machine etc. I would go back except for the fact that it took us over 9 hours to drive there.

recommend this place, have stayed a few times and it is lovely, the beach isn't far and it is gorgeous. plus if you order an online shop from tesco's you won't need to use the car as there is a beautiful coastal walk into st ives or you can catch the lovely little train which is really handy (only £2 for 4 people). also recommend this place, again, really lovely but a slightly busier location.

this is fantastic. A rather well kept secret!

loulou4 · 14/09/2012 09:01

Titan - it looks lovely ... I've been looking for somewhere to take my mum & her dog ..... without compromising on quality ..... looks as though I have found it on this website. thanks.

It's amazing. The manor house is where Prince Charles stays when he's in Cornwall. It's split into a bigger central bit with two smaller wings. So you can rent a bigger section for larger family gatherings. Trinity is the smallest but with the nicest views over the river. For children there's a fantastic brand new play area and heated indoor pool which are shared with the onsite cottages. We have been twice and normally end up with the pool to ourselves. The people that manage it are also great. You get a welcome pack and they come round to check everything's okay. You and your mum will love it!
