Noise in the Olympic Stadium

Those of you who have taken babies into the olympic stadium... How have you found the noise levels? My baby is 4 months and I'm concerned following all the TV coverage of the noise levels. Any advise appreciated.

Bumping this as I have a similar question. The ear defenders DH bought are for 6 month upwards. Grrr

I don't have a baby, but I would say that the noise wasn't really the kind you would worry about. I think because it was such a big space, it didn't ever feel painfully loud. I saw one small child with ear defenders, but no one reacting badly to the noise. My kids still wince at hand dryers in public loos, for example, but were utterly unphased by it.

We saw Oscar Pistorius and David Weir and our 11 month old slept through it...
