How much for a taxi from Birmingham airport o west bromwich?

The Premier Inn , west bromwich central to be precise. Is it far? Google maps says 33 mins drive aprox. Would that cost a lot ? Maybe public transport would be better? Although it takes an hr or more (google tells me! )

Can someone with real knowledge help please ;)

Depends on things like time of day.
I'm nowhere near West Bromwich, but it would probably take about that length of time to drive to airport (not accounting for rush hour) and my dh has been charged anything from £22 - £40 for a taxi from here to the airport.

West Brom is on the other side of Bham from the airport - I think you'd be lucky to do it in 33 mins, unless it was 3am or similar!

Not sure that helps much! Sorry.

Also can't imagine someone flying into the country to visit West Bromwich! Grin

I reckon it's going to be closer to the £40 mark even if they take the motorway which is definitely the quickest.

Might be worth googling an airport cabs service based in west bromwich to do a meet and greet off the flight rather than use a black cab from the airport.

The other option would be to catch a train to Sandwell and Dudley from the airport and then cab from there which would be longer but a lot less ie about £15 in total for about 1 hours journey.

I agree with slalomsuki get the train to SAD and a cab from there. Birmingham airport has a station.

I'm in Wolverhampton, the train is about 15/20 mins, by car it is between 35-65 mins depending on trafic.

Thanks all , very helpful replies Grin .

I probably will catch the train and then get a taxi for the remainder of the journey.

Backforgood you would definitely get a kick out of why I'm flying in so Grin.

By the way is there anything to do during the day there? , I'm going to be at a loose end for 3 days .

Well, you could go and watch the Baggies play if there's a home game on, other than that... er.... Grin

There is nothing to do in West Bromwich unless you like really cheap pound shops. If you go off the beaten track or get lost it can also be intimidating.

You can get the metro into Birmingham centre though, takes about 25 minutes.

Oak house
Sandwell valley and farm

Umm..... All out, but it is close to brum, ace public transport, loads of places within 1 hr on public transport.
