Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton area - what is there to do for a day?????

we are staying in this area for a day what on earth can we do with a 7 yr old :)

Hampton Court Palace - brilliant for a 7 yo and also adults. It's massive so at least half a day, butt could easily spend longer there. It's a really fantastic place, all the staff are so knowledgable and helpful, and it's all so interesting. They also have actors dressed up as Henry VIII and various wives, and they re-enact key moments of his reign. They also have audio guides included in the admission price, and the ticket covers the maze as well.

Alternatively, if you bring your gear with you, there's also Hampton Open Air pools (don't worry, they're heated!)
