omg holidaying in cornwall in a week - where is the sunshine ?

We had a desicion to make a while back, where for our summer holiday ? France or Cornwall ? Anyway, Cornwall won and we are due to go next week. The only thing now is this weather. Lovely Summer, omg we will need waterproofs wellies and coats !

there is a website for Cornwall called 101 things to do in the wet so would suggest you have a look at this. We have had many a wet day but always found something to do. my kids love being in the sea when it is raining and we do have a large pop up beach tent that we can all squash in to. Have a look at some of the whats on pages on the cornwall tourist board website as well for some ideas. fingers crossed for a change.

thanks for that, Ive just seen on the news that the weather might pick up. Ive never wanted to go abroad more in my life.
Two years ago we went at spring bank, it was really really hot. It was nicer than going abroad, beautiful sandy beaches and turqoise sea.
We go on Friday, I still havent started to think about what to take. Waterproof coats and boots.
By the end of August it will be gorgeous.

See you down there purple! I will not let the rain spoil our holiday! I have planned this fortnight like a military operation and have packed full waterproofs and wellies for all 5 of us we also have huge brollies.

The wet weather ideas file (total control freak) is suitably packed full of ideas and I have put some DVDs aside as well.

Bet it is 30 degrees now!!
