Hi, we're staying near fowey and have two dcs aged 22months and 3.4yrs.
We have a rough plan for the week, but would love some more ideas.

All advice gratefully appreciated.

We have a car, kinda don't want to spend too much money. We went to a castle this morning and may do beach tomorrow, then perhaps steam railway later in week.

Open to all suggestions, thanks for reading.

There is a monkey sanctuary in Looe that is about 30 mins away from Fowey. lots of little boats going from one side to the other in Fowey itself which is very nice. Polperro and Looe are good places to look around for traditional cornish fishing villages. go on the boddinnick ferry the kids will love it. bit further afield are things like the tamar valley donkey park, the little train from Liskeard to Looe Bodmin sometimes has thomas trains but you would need to look at Bodmin and Wenford railway for this. hope you have fun. also have a look at Cornwall tourist board website for more info.

We went to Looe and it was the most successful day we had. Crabbing! You can get the lines and bait near the harbour and catch crabs for hours. Free and perfect entertainment! (Need to hang on to little ones by edge of harbour though - maybe a harness?)
You can do boat trips from Fowey which are fab.
You must visit Llanhydrock House - fabulous.
Also Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project.
Everything within an hours drive of Fowey.
