Isle of Wight

DH and I are thinking about booking a weeks holiday on the Isle of Wight for the first week of September, to take advantage of the fact that DS doesn't start (school) nursery until the middle of September. There will be the two of use, DS1 3.7yr and DS2 4mths. There may also be a third adult with us.

We are looking at self-catering, rather than a hotel and definitely no camping.

Where are the best/ nicest parts of the island and do you have any recommendations of places to stay?

We stayed in Seaview a couple of years ago and are going again this summer.

Wight Locations are who we booked with, they're a lovely little company based in Seaview itself although they have self catering properties all over the island. The island is small enough that you can stay just about anywhere and get to all areas on a day trip.

We like the South West side of the island, very pretty but still not far from the busier areas.
