Where would be good to stop en route with a 1 year old? Going to do the return journey after bed time so hopefully she'll sleep

Definitely tebay. Don't even think about stopping anywhere else. It's called Westmorland on some of the signs. Slightly further than half way, but don't even dream of stopping at Southwaite because it's half way. Worth pushing on!
