I'm thinking of hiring a caravan that is set in the cliff above the beach on National Trust land. I'll be taking the 2 DCs by myself, just for a few days in July. I've been on holiday with them by myself a few times (DH will be busy working) but never to what looks like it could be a quite remote place. What do you think?

Lovely, you can always nip along the coast and go fossil hunting if you get fed up body boarding.

Go for it, its absolutely gorgeous there. I'm quite jealous!

Branscombe is quite remote, but its got a lovely shale beach and if I remember correctly a cafe/pub. It may have changed since I went there years ago though.
