Wanted: family holiday with young children!

I have 2 DS's (4 and 7). My parents have just moved to North Cornwall and we are looking for somewhere to stay nearby, to combine the family holiday with seeing them. Ideally we want somewhere with 2 places next to each other, or one large property for my sister's family too. We live in London, so want a holiday in the middle of the countryside (maybe with animals), with enough to entertain the boys and give them some freedom and space to play. Am I asking too much?! Any ideas or advice welcome please!

Cartwheelholidays (have farm stays etc), awaywiththekids, visitcornwall and for larger places groupaccomodation or bigholidayhouse. there are tons of places in N cornwall. Avoid Newquay though as the teenagers waiting to go to Uni stay here until later on in Sept. Bude is fantastic - great beaches and plenty to do in the area.

We stayed at Higher Lank Farm twice when ds was a toddler, and it was fantastic.

Have also rented cottages here where there was lot of room for running round
