Burford, Cotswolds- places to eat and things to do?

Hello,

Does anyone have any tips on Burford and surrounding areas? Going with a group of friends for a girl's weekend away, and have never been before. Any recommendations on pubs/restaurants/activities greatly appreciated!

Stow and bourton on the water for shopping. But you will be v happy in burford anyway:). Go to the garden centre at burford to, it's fabulous and will keep you occupied plus has nice cafe. It's just outside burford on the road to Oxford. Sells antiques, clothes, sift furnishings - mad prices but nice to look round. Butchers arms in stow or Michelin star in lower slaughter. Suggest you go on the cotswold tourist website or google fetes round there as they are also lovely, usually at a stately home with a band:) enjoy:)
