Aviemore Self-Catering Recommendations?

Hi,

Looking for self-catering recommendations for Aviemore (to sleep 3, us and DS who is 2.4) either cottage, chalet or caravan.

Have had a quick google but there seems to be loads and just hoping for a few personal recommendations.

We stayed here and although I would have preferred to have stayed in a lodge or a stone built country cottage they were all either outrageously expensive or booked a year ahead. So we ended up at Loch Aan. It was very comfortable, incredibly clean, close to the centre of Aviemore, reasonably priced. Also you get free use of a local country club which had a lovely pool - definately a bonus. I was newly pregnant with much longed for DS2 at the time so has very happy memories for us.
Hope you find something - Aviemore is fab!

Thank you! We are only about 2.5hrs from Aviemore so do go quite a lot but just looking for somewhere different to stay as it's the last holiday before DC2 arrives in June!
