They look quite fun. Exhuasting but fun. Just a few things worry me. Beds. If I'm going to spend the day climbing ropes then I have to sleep at night. And is the food okay?

We went to one in Lincs - Caythorpe Court. 'Twas pretty much as we expected, if you like camping you'll love it! Bunk beds, all 4 of us in one room, a slide-out wooden 'drawer' under each bunk bed for clothes plus one canvas shelf thingy, and some coat hooks. The beds were comfy though! Food was cafeteria style with a couple of choices, basic stuff but plenty of it, it wasn't bad actually.

Anything else? Grin

We did and loved it! It is like comfy camping, dc's had their own room, we had a double bed.

Went to the one near the devils punchbowl.

I used to go on PGL holidays when I was a teenager, I think I perhaps did it three or four years in a row when my parents wanted rid of me for two weeks of the summer.

We smoked, drank and ran off like teenagers do. Did they tell my parents? no. Nor did they send me home the night I was so poorly that I was hallucinating.

That was 20yrs ago now though and I guess as a family you'd have a bit more control Wink

That's kind of what I expected. A bit youth hostelly. I can manage that.
