Butlins in Skegness - I have a few accommodation questions...

We are off to this resort in a few weeks with a standard apartment - serious budget!

Our concern is parking. I have heard that standard apartments do not allow cars to park right outside the accommodation is that right? When we get a caravan with Haven we always park beside the caravan and opt to keep most of our items in the car (minus clothes and toys) as we're out and about a lot. Then we just pop outside to get whatever else we need.

I did contact Butlins but wasn't really given a good answer...I thought someone here may know!

Thanks. :)

We went a couple of years ago and were in standard (I think?? Was a Sun holiday deal thing and don't remember upgrading...) - it was a bit of a trek from parking to the apartment, but then it was also v. busy so just had to park where we could IYSWIM. It wasn't allocated parking spots next to the accommodation though if that's what you were hoping for...

It is a walk from the communal carpark to the accommodation but not a massive one if I remember rightly. And they have luggage trolleys, like the ones at airports
