Title says it all really.

For those who know the area, are there any activities or attractions you would recommend?

Thanks.

My DD enjoyed Pennywell FArm and Paignton Zoo . She also spent a lot of time on the playground on the front in Teignmouth.

ooo there's loads.

Teignmouth is perfect for a five year old - it has a really lovely playground on the seafront and a pier. It has those things that spurt water from the ground that kids love.

Paignton zoo is quite hard going - there's a lot of walking and ime is a bit hard work and for the money not the best. I'd go instead to the seafront there which also has a fab brand new playground. I think Dartmoor zoo is nicer for a five year old - it's smaller and more manageable.

Pennywell farm is lovely - not terribly cheap though. The Miniature pony centre is nice but about an hour's drive so maybe not ideal.

Also Goodrington (near paignton) has a great beach, water park and a boating lake.

And then there's the steam railway...

..and don't forget to go crabbing - bucket, bit of bacon to stick on line and you're all set. Hours of cheap fun.

I love Devon Grin
