Travel from Luton airport into central London - cheapest way?

I think there are coach and train options - looked briefly and train seems a bit expensive (unless I'm not coming up with the best fares); coach is cheaper and looks like about 1hr 15mins.

Does anyone know cheapest way to go in?

Walking? :o

On a serious note, what time are you looking to travel?

To get the train you need to take a bus from the airport to the train station, which costs £1.50 for a single or £2.50 for a standard return. The off-peak train fare into St Pancras is £13.

The coaches go from right outside Arrivals. If you take the Easybus it's around £11.50 for a single. The Greenline single fare is £16 for an adult. National Express is £15 for a single adult fare.

So there's really not much difference between the coach and train prices.

Thanks. Did it by cab in the end. With 4 passengers it worked out better.
