Delicious food/scenic location/child-friendly - does such a pub exist on the South Coast?

We are hoping to go on a day trip (from London) sometime during the Easter Hols with some friends and are looking for a pub or restaurant - possibly near Chichester?? - for a relaxing lunch. We're after good food (local fish?), and just some pretty garden/outdoor space for our DDs to run off steam after lunch, so that the adults can relax and (hopefully) enjoy some sunshine and a nice chilled glass of wine.

Our DDs eat anything and are pretty well behaved in restaurants so it doesn't need to be kiddie-friendly in that respect, but it must tolerate children, IYKWIM.

Any gems that we should know about? Near to a nice walk / coastal path would be the icing on the cake!

The Lord Raglan Pub in Emsworth?

about 9 miles west of chichester

Right next to beautiful walks around picturesque Emsworth by the sea.

Emsworth

Not quite the coast, but the Griffin at Fletching is just wonderful
