If the weather is ok on Saturday thought we might take a day trip to the seaside (we're in Leicestershire so just about as far from the sea as you can get). We will have two dogs with us so need a beach that allows dogs and has somewhere nearish where we can grab some food.

Any recommendations?

Sutton on Sea?
Go further afield to Hunstanton?
Scarborough?

Cleethorpes
Mabelthorpe

Agree Mablethorpe or Cleethorpes are your best bet on East Coast

Anderby Creek, think it allows dogs.

Cleethorpes and Mablethorpe don't allow dogs from a certain date, possibly 1st April?

I'd vote for Anderby Creek or Chapel St Leonards. Both very small and much quieter than any of the other big resorts around that coast.

If you do go to anderby creek then please look out for a black whippet. Her name is duchess and she went missing from anderby creek a month ago.
