Places to stay in Dorset near the coast

We are thinking of going to Dorset for a long weekend at the start of the Easter holidays ie the week before Easter. We have probably left it a bit late to book but if anyone has any recommendations of places to stay that would be really helpful. Not sure a cottage is worth it as we can only stay 2 or 3 nights so need a hotel/pub/B&B with a family room for 2 adults, 2 kids.

We are going here later this year. This place was recommended by a friend who goes there every year.

One of the best holidays I ever had was in Lyme Regis.

Lyme is lovely. We plan to go there while we are in Dorset.
