Recommendations for uk holiday with 6 month dd and dog!

Husband and I are looking for a uk holiday with our dd and dog. Our dd will be about 6 months by the summer. Have looked at centre parcs but I hear the prices for food are a con. We fancy something a bit different, my husband would like somewhere with a pool so he can swim with the dog!!!- don't ask, not essential! Any ideas greatly appreciated

Ok not so sure about swimming with the dog but how about a house swap?

We did our first one last year and was great for kids and dog as had all the comfort of home but a new place to explore.

Esp good if you swap with someone who also has a baby/dog as all set up in terms of dog/baby safe.
