Hi all
PLan to take dh to Kidderminster for a weekend for a trip on the steam Severn Valley Railway and wondered if anyone could recommend a hotel in/near Kidderminster? Will have the dc with us, aged 5 and 8.

Also, we plan to go to the West Midlands Safari Park as well while we're there - has anyone been? What's it like?

Thanks :)

Id stick with the main chain hotels - they have just built a new premier inn i think.

Safari park is ok but expensive i think - you pay to do the safari and then pay extra for the rides if you wnat to do those

Bridgnorth is nice though - this is where the train takes you to - its a nice market town - oldy worldy and quite pretty

Wetherspoons in Bridgnorth is ok and reasonably priced.

Thanks :) we like Permier Inns. We have Tesco vouchers for the safari park too :)

Hi PiedWagtail
Hope you have a good time visiting Severn Valley Railway.
If you need any info you can email us at [email protected]
And yes, Bridgnorth is a lovely place (not that I'm biased...!)
Kind regards
Sue
