Hi can someone please suggest somewhere to go for 5-8 days bang over the Easter week. Centre parcs looks pretty full already and I cannot believe what they want for a 4 night break for 4 of us in one of their lower grade cabins. Shall we just go with them (never been before) or opt for something else and if so what? It has to be somewhere where there is something to do close by as my children are not big on self amusing. Thanks

you have left it a bit late for easter so would suggest you have a look at lastminute-cottages.co.uk as they show whats available for the next 6 weeks. if you go for a cottage/appartment/caravan then you need to look for one that does a friday to friday. you also have to be realistic in that most places other than CP who are set up for this will be looking for a 7 night let and not a 4 night one. also have a look at next6weeks.com. Personally not a fan of CP very overpriced imo but if you havent been perhaps its worth giving it a try. good luck i am sure you will find something nice.

Where in the UK are you and what kind of holiday are you after?

Have a look at Bluestone in Pembrokeshire, Wales? Has some similarities to Centre Parcs and tends to be cheaper.

In Hertfordshire (North of London) and not fussed. Something to keep kids amused for much of day would be great.
