Bedruthan Steps with 7 month old....worth it?

Hi

We have a few weeks until I return to work. We'd like to get away for a few nights and have heard good things about this hotel.

Have any of you ever been? It seems pricey, but would you say it was worth going with a 7 month old? Is it really "doable" to have dinner on your own using the baby listening service?

Its a few nights there versus a longer break in a woodland lodge type thing (Bluestone/Forest Holidays)

Just after any thoughts really.......

Thank-you x

We loved it but no experience of baby listening service, ds2 was 9 at the time. It's a great location, pack a backpack or sling for the walk down to the beach and if you plan on walking the cliff path. Food and service also very good much better than Fowey Hall when we were there.

It can be very relaxing but you do pay for it. just depends on what it is worth to you really. would check the baby listening service as lots of places have stopped doing them due to h and s (read this on another thread). The pool is good too.

We love it there - loads to do and as relaxing as it gets with a baby.

We have used the baby listening service, although I have got progressively more wimpy about doing that sort of thing. The reception have a big board of alarms, which activate if there is any noise coming from the room. I guess it is fine as the baby is locked in, and they do come immediately to the restaurant to get you.

Last time we went, you could eat with children at 7pm in the dining room, which worked better for us. Also, at 7 months, you could probably just trundle them in in a pushchair.
