Hi
please can some people share their experience of Hoseason holidays. Long story but we have to make an unexpected/unplanned/unbudgeted trip to north cornwall over Easter (including the Easter weekend). It is about a 7 hour drive for us so and with a young child I just don't think an overnight stay in a hotel would be good. I am looking at inexpensive options and have found a few options on the hoseason website, but neither myself or my husband have been on a holiday like this - I mean on a site if you know what I mean.

Any experiences would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks

Hi I have no experience about Hoeseasons but there is a hotel called Porth Veor Manor which has great 2 bedroom villas around an outdoor pool which can be booked on a nightly basis at very reasonable rates. They are really lovely!Sorry I've never looked into doing links on here.

i will be able to share my first experience in May, so will watch other peoples experiences with interest Smile.

Ours in north wales, right on a sandy beach, aquarium in walking distance, soft play inside, playground outside, and a lovely pool with jacuzzi spa, so hopefully it will be nice for us and our 7m baby!

we used hoseasons to book a lodge within a macdonalds hotel site nr stirling. I think hoseasons are sometimes an agent for private lets, and for companies like Haven. We had a really pleasant short stay there at nearly half the price of what macdonalds wanted to charge.
Have also used them to book Seaton Sands before, u get what u pay for at the holiday parks don't u...but the kids always love it!
Nannyl can I ask where u r going...We went to north wales last year and am looking for somewhere to stay at the mo! was looking for somewhere near angelsey/ llandudno area :)

I think its called golden sands

near Rhyll; It ticked all our boxes Smile
It has Llandudno in the "places to visit from here" part of the website

oh and i have realised we can use tesco vouchers for our aquarium tickets which has really pleased me, as that makes a "free" day out

We generally book holiday cottages through Hoseasons because we don't want the holiday park experience. Without exception the cottages have been clean comfortable and well equipped. The photos and descriptions are accurate IME.

We've used them several times to stay in lodges. All experiences have been good! Sites vary greatly, large parks may have several companies using them. I'd imagine even the all dancing, large parks, with caravans wouldnt be hideous out of holiday times. I'd go for it.
