suggestions for things to do in Bristol this weekend

We are going to visit my 19 year old ds tomorrow and Sunday. We are a family of 5, aged 19, 16 and 6. Any ideas for things to do? I have thought of M Shed, Brunel's SS Great Britain, Bristol museum and art gallery and Bristol pirate walks.

thanks in advance

@ Bristol is fantasktic for the younger ones with lots of hands on stuff. we love looking around SS great Britain but mine are 9 - 14 so might be better for the younger ones. have a look at the tourist board website and give them a ring as well because there are often special events on. what about walking over the bridge - its a bit scary driving imo!

Well-timed thread - I am also off to Bristol this weekend, and wondering what to do!

My cousin had her wedding reception on the SS Great Britain, but I can't remember much about it. Blush
