Nice towns to visit / shop in south gloucestshire

Staying in this area at weekend, where is nice to visit/ shop/ stop of as we journey from Hampshire.

Am after quirky and nice variety rather than massive shopping centre, identikit town centre.

Where are you staying?

Stroud Farmer's market good on a Sat 9-12
Cirencester/Tetbury for a wander round and some nice 'one off' shops
Otherwise Cheltenham or Bath if you want bigger - I would go for Bath, but depends where you are staying

Totworth court, off the m5, can come along m4 and go through Cotswolds or via Salisbury/ bath.

Bath, then A46 up past Tetbury, through Nailsworth and across to Totworth
