Appledore holiday at half term

Can anyone suggest good pub, restaurant, places to go with kids in the re of Appledore. We are renting a house for half term thanks

I have taken my year 6 class to Skern Lodge a couple of times on residential trips. its a beautiful area. You could do something there with older kids? But maybe a bit cold! We always enjoy crabbing at the quay in Appledore, but again better for fine weather. Have a great time.
