Hi there, we are planning a family trip to Northumberland, there would be around 12 of us and I think to keep the peace if possible we'd like to stay on a farm in a few close but separate cottages, any ideas? Thanks :-)

You could try Link House Farm - we have stayed there and loved it as it is right by the sea.

There is a hotel called riverdale county house near Bellingham. They have 4 apartments on the grounds. They are ideal. We went as a family of 20 last year for my mils 60th. It was great. We all had ourown apartment but was right next to each other, they are self catering but the food int he hotel was fab. The staff are lovely as it is family owned. The hotel itself could do with a little tlc but the apartments are new and the staff and service make up for it in spades. It is just outside hexham
