Park resorts, entertanment pass

Have got a bargain sun holiday, and have been sent the thing for "optional" entertainment pass and service charge etc

i know i need to pay the service charge

Do i need to pay the entertainment charge? They are charging for 4 people, but it will only be me, OH and 11m DD, and it says if i want 1 i have to buy 4.

We wont be using evening entertainment / kids clubs etc at all, but we do want to use the swimming pool

I think that to get into a swimming pool you will need to show passes. But saying this, I stayed at a Park Resorts a couple of years ago (sun holiday) and didn't have to show my pass once. I don't know if I would risk it though.
