Hi bit of advice.

Planning on going to Center parcs (unfortunately easter holidays so prices hiked) but wondered if the 2 bed Lakeside lodges are OK. The ones I am looking at are the ones next to the boat/kayak station.

Are they v noisy as next to mainish route? Would the ones on the opposite side of the lake be better.

Bit worrried about going in school holidays as twice gone before was in term time and didnt seem too busy. Is it going to be hell??

V specific question but am amazed at what people know on Mumsnet so just thought I'd ask!

We've visited Whinfell a number of times both in and out of term time. Last year we were there at Easter and like you were worried it was going to be far too busy, but it was fine. A few times the pool was seemed "full" but we always managed to find a quieter spot when we wanted to get away from it all.

I am interested to read any comments on the Lakeside Lodges, I've always had similar thoughts to you so have always booked just outside of the village assuming it would be a bit quieter. Enjoy!
