There is a whole row of restaurants under the Festival Hall. Everything from Wagamama to Giraffe, and a brilliant sushi place at the top of the steps that our DCs absolutely love eating in (and have done since they were tiny).

Giraffe or there's a pub on the waterfront that does really good food as well. There's a restaurant called Tas Pide near the Globe that does turkish food and is lovely. That's where we tend to go as dd really likes the food too.

Wagamamas is pretty good - as is Giraffe (both near Royal Festival Hall). Round the back is a pizza express and Chez Gerrard if you'd prefer that (is round the back and across the road).

If you walk around the back of the Festival Hall there is Canteen which is great with kids if you go early evening. Good menu - trifle is a must have!

There is Strada, Yo Sushi, Wagammamma and Giraffe under the RFH
PingPong and Los Iguanas along the side, and Canteen behind.

Have a look for vouchers - lots of those places offer voucher offers.

If you are up for the evening stroll, walk all the way along the river to the Borough Market area, where you will find lots of interesting options, including the Turkish Tas in Borough High St.
