London - what to do and where to go over Easter weekend

ok us 2 and our DS age 7 are goign to London, need your advice on:

Sat staying next to the London Eye - what can we do in the afternoon here, im thinking - go on the Eye, walk over to Trafalgar Square, eat around the south bank in the evening near hotel????

Sunday - The Strand/Covent Garden Area - what can we do in afternoon and where to eat in evening???

Go to the museums Natural history, science etc. they are just so fab for kids and adults that you will go intending to spend a couple of hours and just want to stay. open top bus ride around London to see the sights. Boat trip, tower of london? my kids wouldnt just wander around areas so we have had to find things for them.
