I've never done one, but am thinking about applying. Is it worth it?

They come out to more as based on 4 sharing so unless there is four you have to pay the extra, also you have to pay for the park passes. My last one came to about 100 in the end. Still good value but not £9.50

Hiya - I've been on one Sun holiday to Cornwall. We ended up paying about £70 - you have to pay extra for things like bedding and we upgraded to a better caravan. I think you can do it for £9.50 but it will be very basic.
It's worth a go Smile

I have just booked mon - fri in Blackpool for five people and it came to £59. That included £9.50 insurance and I think about a £1 for paying with my debit card. I expect to pay £7.50 per person for an entertainment charge on top of this and a service and linen charge.

I've done it loads of times and I don't think i've ever paid more than £90 for five people. The entertainmet pass pays for the night time entertainment and the pool is free. I think its well worth it. My family would never go on holiday if it wasn't for the Sun holidays. I have heard a lot of snobby comments about it though so if you are offended by football tops, tattoos and kids with earings I would maybe try elsewhere :)

some of the parks (pontins + a few others that are not part of big chain like haven or park holidays) are only £9.50 per person (+ a first class stamp)

We did one and once the entertainment pass and electric surcharge was added on it was £31 extra so about £70, but still a bargain.

We have done really well this year, decidied where we wanted to go back in november, (france, a specific site OH went to as a child) and then realised they did sun holidays there. (the europe ones are £19 i think, but £30 in july / augast) we had a specific date we had to go (day after a friends wedding when we are close to ferry port anyway) and knew the ferry we needed and we needed a cabin.... the total for all this was over £1200

all in (+ ferry ferry supplement for July + cabin for ferry etc) has cost us £400, saving £800, and we were going to go there anyway. same place / same ferry / same date!

Cant believe i have saved £800. Grin Smile(I was the 98th person to book though as booked
