Gwel an Mor in cornwall.....anyone been?

Looking at this for our summer hols with my parents (so 6 of us in all)

Looks v nice but is it? Is the beach close enough to walk to? Is there plenty to do if weather is rubbish?

Would be going mid July

Yes we went 2 yrs ago- had lovely lodge with whirlpool spa. The complex wasgreat,small but very clean. Restaurant was good- didn't really use bar. Used pool daily. Complex was quiet as off beaten track. We walked to the beach but a fair way and not a brilliant beach really. We used it as a base to explore Cornwall. Thoroughly recommend for great quality clean self catering accommodation and would go again but surrounding local shrrounding area maybe not the best part of Cornwall?
