Stevenage B and B's near the main train station.

My DD is doing some work experience in the Feb Half Term. She is 17 and this will be her first time away alone.
I wondered if anyone knows of a decent B an B which is within walking distance of Stevenage Train Station (her work experience is an 8 minute walk from the train station) I supose I want the unthinkable really a room and someone to look out for her :) I am going to google and ring the B&B's/Travellodge but a recommendation would be fab.

THe train station isn't really in the sort of area where you'd get B&Bs, IMO. It is near the out of town cinemas, police station, industrial estates, out of town shopping complexes, etc.

I hate to suggest it but it might be worth asking on Netmums (the North Herts local pages) - very active and popular local board in the Stevenage area.
