me and a few friends are looking for a one night spa break in the new year, within easy reach of Manchester.
ideally it would be somewhere with a nice bar restaurant, as we're not looking to detox or anything, just relax and get pampered. 
I'm going a bit cross-eyed looking at places and would love to get personal recommendations.
Any thoughts?
