Christmas Accommodation 1hr from london

Hoping to get a couple of nights away at Christmas. For myself, DP and 2ds (3&4)
Budget is pretty limited :(
Am I dreaming?
Something warm,cosy and charming. A chance to escape really.
We can drive but wouldn't want a big trip.
Any ideas?

Elveden Forest Center Parcs, Suffolk, its in the middle of a forest? the lodges are cosy with fires! Love the twilight spa in the evening! Pricey though although babysitter in the evening (so we could spa) was £6ph last year!!
