Hi, I'm in dire need of a gorgeous cottage in devon to stay for 3 nights in December. I don't mind paying a lot and it can have more than one bedroom. Last place we stayed was Moorland View in North Bovey (if you want to google) but this isn't available. Required, rural location, open fire/wood burner, somewhere special. Thanks so much in advance, I'm just sick of trawling websites and coming up with nothing :-)

Oh, I've just seen that the Boathouse is booked through December so not a lot of use to you. There are a lot of other nice properties in the brochure though if it's one you haven't searched through already.

Have a look at awaywithoutthekids website. National trust have some lovely properties too if you want to push the boat out. also have a look at tavata website covers things to do and places to stay in the tamar valley which runs between devon and cornwall.
