Family friendly reasonably priced hotels in Central London

Can anyone recommend any?

I am hoping to go wiht DH and DD - aged 4 - for a short break in half-term to visit the museums in South Ken etc. We would be looking for a family room.

Not a hotel but self-catering appartments in Gloucester Road, Holborn etc - many locations: Citadines Well priced and very convenient, friendly and clean.
