Girly weekend - somewhere nice but don't want to spend a fortune!!! Have been told Osborne Rd in Jesmond is full of B&B's?

yes it is, close to pubs etc too. Good deals can also be had a malmaison on the quayside. There is a travelodge and premier near quayside too.

I used to live on Osbore Rd and this is exactly where I was going reccomend! Lots of nice bars with fun happy hours - really love it. And a taxi to and from town is only a few quid. Wish I was going!

I hope you're planning well in advance, Newcastle hotels get very booked up at weekends. The new Jurys Inn on the Gateshead side of the river might be worth a try - fantastic views, very close to the action, but not too rowdy (Osborne Road is fine so long as you're not planning to sleep during the night at all).

I don't work for Jurys Inn btw, but have booked people into it for work!
