I am thinking about booking a couple of nights away for me and DH. Will be dropping of the DC in Dumfries and want somewhere within a couple of hours from there. I would prefer to go North, not bothered about Glasgow.
Ideally would like a romantic getaway, nice views, possibly coastal or overlooking a Loch. Prefer modern hotels.
Any suggestions, that don't cost an arm and a leg.
